Brick Guide: Price per Square Meter & Pieces per Pallet

Creating a realistic budget to avoid unnecessary expenses is a necessary prerequisite for any construction project. Therefore, in order to achieve proper planning of any project, it is necessary to answer questions such as: "How many bricks does a pallet have?", "How is the price per square meter formed in bricks?", "What is a block and what is the difference between this and a brick?", and "How is the price calculated in a pallet of bricks?".

This article is a useful guide from Maliouris Group for professionals in the field, as well as individuals, as we will talk about issues that contribute significantly to the correct planning of the work and the costing of any small or large construction.

Bricks: Price per Square Meter & Pieces

The price per square meter of bricks depends to a great extent on the weight and dimensions of the product. In fact, as you will see in detail on our website, can be placed from 15 to 40 bricks per square meter, always depending on the size of the product.

Below we will see indicatively how many bricks per square meter can be used, depending on the sizes of the products, so that you can calculate the cost of each construction:

  • Maliouris Brick 12 is small in size (190x120x90) and weighs 1.8 kg per piece. This means that there are 40 pieces per square meter. Of course, it should be mentioned that in bricks the price per square meter is also determined by the size of the order.
  • For a medium-size product which is usually used for internal masonry, such as Brick 250, there are 29 bricks per square meter. And because the price per square meter for bricks is determined, among other things, by weight, it should be noted that this product weighs 5,6 kg per piece.
  • Maliouris Brick 18 is a large brick, so there are only 18 pieces per square meter. The weight in this product is 6,5 kg / piece.
  • Similarly, to the vertical hollow bricks the number of pieces per square meter is determined by the dimensions. Thus with the Maliouris Brick V100 there are 20 bricks per square meter, while with the larger V200 there are 15 bricks per square meter. Their weight is 3,3 kg / piece and 9,6 kg / piece, respectively.

So, knowing how many bricks per square meter a construction needs makes it easier to calculate the cost, to find a suitable place for storage and to plan the work properly.

At Maliouris Group, we are available to inform you about how bricks are priced per square meter, their use and their unique characteristics.

How many bricks are in a pallet

Many customers are also interested in knowing how many bricks are in a pallet so that they can calculate the order they need to make. In this case the number depends again on the dimensions of the product, while in a pallet of bricks the price is, as can be expected, linked to the size of the order.

Let us see, for example, how many bricks a pallet has depending on the dimensions of the product:

  • In small bricks such as Maliouris Brick 12 the pallet has a large number of pieces. In particular, a pallet of Brick 12 has 480 pieces.
  • In medium bricks, and in particular Maliouris Brick 9A, the pallet contains 231 pieces, while a pallet of Maliouris Brick 250 contains 144 pieces.
  • Continuing in the large size category, a pallet of Maliouris Euroblock bricks contains 72 pieces, while a pallet of Eco25 bricks contains 84 pieces.

Therefore, the number of bricks in a pallet is directly related to the dimensions of the products we choose. While in order to determine the price of a pallet of bricks, each manufacturer has to take into account a number of data.

On our website you will be able to find out in detail, per dimensional category and per product, how many bricks a pallet has and make your calculations. In addition, you will find the dimensions of each brick as well as the weight per piece, so that you can calculate the price per brick pallet. As with many building materials, the price of a pallet of bricks depends on the type of product, its particular properties and the quantity of the order.

Block / Brick: How is the price determined

A term often used in the construction industry is the block. However, it is not a different product, just a word synonymous with brick, which is commonly used in other regions of Greece. So, in Northern Greece we may say brick, but the same product in Southern Greece or on some islands is called block.

Below we will list some of the main reasons that can determine the cost of a block or a brick:

Thermal insulation / sound insulation / fire resistance

In brick or block the price depends on the properties it may have. Energy saving, noise protection and fire resistance are some of them.

Excellent raw materials

In many products like brick / block the price can also be determined by the raw materials. A brick of excellent quality does not release toxic gases and hazardous substances, thereby creating a pleasant and healthy environment inside the structure.

Durability over time

The characteristics of the brick also determine its durability. This means that on the market you will find bricks with different lifespan, an important parameter that must be taken into account in every construction.

At Maliouris Group our products are under strict quality control at every stage of manufacture. This combined with our experience, expertise and excellent raw materials allows us to create high quality bricks that promote the modern way of building.
